“The opportunity to participate in the ANTH 450 Faculty-led Immersion Program in Thailand profoundly shaped both my academic and professional development! Conducting field research on child professional Muay Thai fighters allowed me to explore the intersection of sport ethics, legal frameworks, and cultural narratives and combined my passions in law, policy, and sport in a way that no classroom could replicate. The collaborative environment and firsthand exposure to local perspectives truly transformed how I approach interdisciplinary research and deepened my commitment to culturally informed inquiry!”
