International Opportunities
for Students

Gateway Faculty-led International Programs (FLIPs) are course-based, short-term, in-country opportunities that combine classroom learning with experiential learning abroad. Students may find a Gateway FLIP is a literal gateway to a future semester abroad or work-abroad opportunity. The Gateway Program offers these opportunities at no additional cost to students, except for personal incidentals.

Eligibility

  • Must be a declared social sciences major with at least 12 hours completed in the major. Given space limitations, strong preference for juniors and seniors will be given.
