Gateway Faculty-led Immersive Programs (FLIPs) are course-based, short-term opportunities that combine classroom learning with experiential learning outside the Rice University campus. Students may find a Gateway FLIP is a literal gateway to a future semester away or work-abroad opportunity. The Gateway Program offers these opportunities at no additional cost to students, except for personal incidentals.
